Lynsey Tyson

Lynsey is a Cheshire based artist and qualified riding instructor, with a passion for wildlife and rural scenery as well as her beloved horses. She works mostly from her own reference images and plein air whenever possible with landscapes. She mostly works in oil paints, sometimes using a little acrylic too, and loves to paint on upcycled roof slates as well as more traditional canvasses. She loves to paint in strong vibrant colours and this focus on colour and composition leads to her bold interpretation of her subjects. She hopes that you enjoy her paintings as much as she enjoys creating them!
